In fact, it was easier to use than our old oven, which was pretty easy itself. That seems pretty easy to me. It has a turntable, which is a must in my opinion, and after several months I find it to cook as well as any microwave I have ever used. I installed this microwave by myself in one evening, with minimal difficulty, though I suggest that if you have someone that can help you when it comes to actually lifting it up and hanging it, it will be a lot easier. The only complaint I have is that the door does not have any kind of button or release, so the mechanism used to keep the door shut makes the door a bit loud unless you close it with caution. It is a great oven and a great buy. Though I can't speak for longevity, it seems well built, and it should last quite a while. I will update this review if anything changes.So far, so good. That said, it doesn't get the constant use that the one in my kitchen does. It operates relatively quietly and was easy to install over our range. The exhaust on the microwave seems adequate to the limited cooking it has experienced so far. I thought the unit felt and looked substantial and well-made. At this point in time I would recommend this microwave for people with a limited amount of space in their kitchen.I would like to mention that the fan seems to be more powerful than that of any above-range microwave I have used. The ease of use, clean design, ease of installation (outside vent option is very easy to adapt), and powerful magnatron make this a great microwave. The price make it an incredible value.It was functional, though the vent fan is way too loud. Over The Range Microwave Rvm1535dmww; Hotpoint Hallmark. Learn about our response to Covid-19 The microwave just stopped working, no power. I checked the fuses and found the one under the air hood on top of the microwave wasn't working, or at least I don't think it's working. I tested it for continuity and it was open. I'm not sure it this one should test open or closed. The part number is WB27X10195. There's a lot of grease build up that was around the fuse and the blower motor. Would this cause the fuse to fail. There was enough grease that you can see the imprint of where the fuse was. With what could cause the issue, grease build up around it could cause the thermal to get too hot but is normally caused by something inside the unit getting too hot and causing the failure. There is no power on my Microware at all, I thought it might have been the fuse, I changed it, still no power on the LCD panel, inside the Microwave, none whatsoever. Can you help to see where the problem might be, this one is in good condition and I don't want to buy a new one. Thanks. If not then replace the thermal cutoff. If all the readings are proper and in range, replace the magnetron. I tested the cap and it measures OK at 886nF. I also tested the magnatron and it shows 0.2ohms between terminals and no shorts to ground. One is shorted with the harness attached but operates normally with no connections. Is this normal? The only possible issues I can find is the high voltage diode. I am using a Fluke 87 and cannot get a reading in diode mode.
I also found one thermal switch that is open but I am aware that there is one switch that should operate this way. It happen when I was changing the light bulb, did an explosion. I change the light bulb connector and have new bulb, stil not working.I unplugged it and plugged it back in it says press clock but still not responding. I tried other buttons such as express heat and it responds, but then after trying to press different buttons it says shorted keypad. I tried unplugging it and plugged it back in. There's power but no keypad are responding. Any suggestions?Any parts that need to replaced? Thanks If cleaning it with a dry pencil eraser, (rub with eraser only toward the end of the ribbon cable to prevent damage to same), doesn't correct the issue, you will have to replace the membrane switch to restore normal operation. My wife said our power surged this week and she had to reset several breakers to the kitchen outlets. The microwave is completely dead (no display, no lights, no fan), and I tried different household outlets just to be sure it was getting power. Should this second thermostat be reading closed, and if so, does power applied to this thermostat open it by a switch.

If there is 120 vac to the control board then replace the Control board. If there is no power then the thermal cut off that is showing open would need to be replaced. The entire unit died when I closed the door after placing something inside for heating. No lights, nothing. Checked power to the unit and it's good. I checked the 20 amp fuse behind the top grill and found that it was open. I shorted the fuse terminal, plugged in the power cord and front display turned on along with inside light. Now, I unplugged the unit and went on to test the two thermostats easily accessible behind the key pad. The one on the left read closed, but other one on the wall towards the bottom right shows open. Is it supposed to be normally open. I want to order this part only if it is bad. Please help. If the unit powered on when you bypassed the buss fuse then you would need to replace the fuse.
